We have had multiple clients asking us where to park when they come and visit our location in the North Loop Galley.
Here is what Jessie Kelley, Co-owner of Ono Hawaiian Plates had to say
Downtown parking can be tricky sometimes. You have multiple solutions to park close to our restaurant.
- The closest public garage is Nordic Ramp. However it is sometimes full.
- After this, there is another public garage on 10th and Washington
- There is a third public garage on 5th and Washington.
There is also metered street parking on Washington, as well as behind the building on 3rd (which is cheaper).
We really hope you’ll have ease to find parking after these recommendations and come see us very soon!
Parking on Saturday and Sundays seem to be easier, from what we can tell/are told by others.
Minneapolis street parking rules can vary from one street to the next. Take a moment to look around for signs stating parking restrictions before leaving your car, especially in business districts.
Parking meter enforcement hours also vary from street to street. Hours of enforcement are listed on each parking meter or parking spot number post. Unfortunately, these can be difficult/impossible to see without getting out of your car.
Also make sure to keep in mind that if you plan to enjoy adult beverages to accompany your meal, we definitely DO NOT condone drinking and driving and would recommend you to be PONO and use Taxis, Uber or Lyft to come and get home safely.
